Big Brother: MMXV

Big Brother continues on Channel 5 for it's new series in 2015, or, in roman numerals, MMXV. Viacom now own the Channel and the show has undergone numerous changes in order to get the viewers back.

The first change you may notice is that the Eatock eye is back, after four years away.

Presenters and Shows

Emma Willis returns to present the Live launch, and the eviction shows, which air every Friday night for 75 minutes. In the case of a double eviction, the show is extended to 90 minutes.

Rylan Clark returns to Big Brother, however, after four years on air, Big Brother's Bit On The Side has been scrapped by Viacom - which makes way for a brand new spin off show.... BIG BROTHER PLUS.

Big Brother Plus has the exact same format as Big Brother's Little Brother, and it will air Monday - Thursday at 6:00pm. On Fridays it will air straight after eviction shows.

Highlight shows air every day excluding fridays at 9:00pm lasting 60 minutes.

LIVE FEED RETURNS!

Viacom are bringing back the 24/7 live feed, completely free!

It is available to watch live on the Demand 5 app at anytime of the day, and from 10:00pm - 12:30am you can watch it on TV, on the 5* (straight after the highlights shows).

On eviction nights, it will air for 1 hour after Big Brother Plus on Channel 5.

LAUNCH NIGHT TWIST:

This year's twist comes from the saying 'Rome wasn't built in a day'.
The house has been given an Ancient Roman makeover, but the house has not been furnished. Only basic appliances and utensils have been placed in the house.

Over the first week, housemates will have to win and build the furniture for the house. The Big Brother house wasn't built in a day.

THE EMPEROR TWIST

Each week, a new Emperor of the house will be decided by the public via a poll on the new Big Brother app. The app is available for devices running on Android, iOS, Blackberry and Windows.

To give other housemates a chance, the Emperor cannot be voted as Emperor for the following week (two weeks in a row).

The Emperor has immunity from that week's public vote, and will play a vital role in nominations, which take place on Sundays. Which ever housemate the Emperor nominates will automatically face that week's eviction, along with one other housemate who received the most nominations from other housemates.

He's asked for permission for the eye, he's done the adverts for himself and is thinking up unique concepts, there's no need to be rude because he may not be absolutely 'fantastic' at graphics (presumably because you asked to use somebody else's eye).
