The baby would get just as much enjoyment from crawling at ground level. Seems like the ego of the parents got in the way of protecting their baby.

...‘It’s a straight drop..'...I think the baby would be pretty much dead, whatever sort of drop it was...parents teach their children about danger and 'it's not wise to do that because...'..and then prop them on the edge of a cliff because it takes a nice photo/weird....

to be fair, babies aren't fastest things on the planet. They are kind like a tortoise, if it starts gong the wrong direction just pick them up and point them in a different direction.

That being said, those photos still make my stomach drop.

This. Babies are not slow as tortoise at all. :laugh:
