One part Skins and one part Midsomer Murders, Glue is a new E4 drama. It's set around a mysterious murder of a 14 year old roman gypsy in a farm near the Berkshire village of Lambourn.

I watched the first episode and i liked it but wasn't blown away, if anything i was slightly confused.

Did anybody else watch it?

I only watched it because I heard Jordan from Rizzle Kicks was naked. I actually really liked it.

Digital Spy ask 9 questions about the first episode

1. What is the significance of the pendant?
2. The couple having sex in the van. Who were they?
3. Why did James kill a baby calf?
4. What time was Cal killed?
5. Why did Rob and Cal hate each other?
6. Who is 'Lost Girl 99'?
7. Why do the gang no longer speak to police officer Ruth?
8. Why is Tina so destructive?
9. What did Eli lie about?

I'm going to watch it now on catch up. I hope it's good because loads of drama shows I like have either gone to the crapper recently or been cancelled. :(

my main suspects are -

The police officer that worked with Ruth in the first part of the first episode
Tina
Eli
&
Rob

I found it quite pretentious tbh, like it focused on style over substance and tried too hard to be like Broadchurch.

There were a lot of confusing moments and unanswered questions right now.

Is this any good? I love murder mysteries!

Me too, Vanessa!

I'd give this a go since the general plot is a 'whodunnit' kind of thing. :)

totally agree, i'm sure the unanswered questions will get answered however there was too much confusing moments. DS said that Jordan from RK can act in one of their articles, i think that is BS judging on the first episode.

Is anybody still watching this?

Unsure whether I like it or not. The actress with the black frizzy hair is seriously crap, she practically plays herself in every TV show she's in.

I'm still watching but only for Tina and the dippy stable girl.

The young cop girl and the dude from Rizzle Kicks can not act and it really detracts from the mood.

I love Glue, and to think I only watched for the nudity (can I just add, the closest to a drama I watch is Waterloo Road)

I had it down as James' mum to stop them going away, totally ignored the fact it could be Eli. Superb series. Finale was incredibly acted.

I thought it could have been James. Maybe a heated argument? I'm glad it wasn't him.

After he killed the calf in the first episode i ruled him out, the producers wanted us to think it was him from the beginning. James loved Cal

I know he would never hurt him on purpose, but maybe an accident.

I thought the finale was okay, nothing more nothing less.

Eli killing Cal was quite underwhelming if I'm honest. I think they should've wrote it so that Eli couldn't cope with his brother's death and went on a killing spree himself. Then they could've added a final twist and had someone like James' mum as the killer because she hated the fact that Cal had 'turned' her son into homosexual.

The penultimate episode kind of made it obvious as well.

Just finished watching this on watchseries, and I thought it was quite good.

So what was the titles significance??

Is it that they are all attached/intertwined together in this crap environment and there is no escape??

Is it b/c horses that aren't good for anything else are sent to the glue factory, and these teens are the useless horses of society??

There were a few plot fallouts for me as well, but the title question is bothering me right now :puzzled:
