How did this need to break up come about and when? When did they announce it officially that they wanted to become independent? I missed the whole thing and before I knew it it's all anyone is talking about.

Arrangements for the referendum were passed November 2013 but has only come to the forefront in media quite recently...well imo anyway.

How is picking up rubbish, not throwing stones at people anything to do with endorsing equality? That's just basic respect.
