I have a massive gammon cooking in my slow cooker right now, already smells amazing and when it's done I will slice it up, use some for tonight's dinner, some for soup and the rest for sandwiches.
Once that's done I will be making a massive amount of beef stew to serve with crusty/garlic bread for Hogmanay.

I think it cooks it lovely Cherie.
A lot of people place the gammon in the slow cooker with cider/apple juice/cola etc but I honestly don't bother with any of that I literally place the gammon in the slow cooker with the tiniest amount of water and leave it to cook on low for 8 hours (4 on high)
