If you’re a fan of Big Brother, you may recall that Sam Pepper went into the house during its eleventh run, and during the 73 days he was on the show, he irritated his housemates – and a number of viewers – with his propensity for pranks…
They included banging on the base of a pan in the middle of the night and putting chilli powder into toothpaste.
However, despite the fact that his ‘jokes’ and pranks weren’t to everyone’s liking, he’s continued to try to build a reputation as the ultimate prankster by uploading videos of himself carrying them out to YouTube, but his latest addition has prompted outrage…
And that’s because in the video, Sam walks up to women in the street and asks them for directions. As they then reply, he touches their bottoms. However, as he has tucked the arm of his hoodie into its pocket, it isn’t immediately obvious that he’s doing the touching.
But as mentioned above, while he finds the whole thing hilarious, Twitter users do not, and at the time of writing, ‘Sam Pepper’ and ‘#ReportSamPepper’ are trending on the social media site.
The majority of those who have made remarks about the video have called for Sam to be reported to police for sexual assault.
One angry Twitter user wrote, “Sexual Harassment toward women is funny now?! Classed as entertainment now?! What the actual ****** Sam. This isn’t funny.”
Another wrote, “This doesn’t even need an explanation just trend it pls he is scum.”
One more added, “Hey guys! So today I’m doing the ‘rape girls in the street prank!’”
