What is your earliest memory?

I have two and I don't know which actually happened first..

At a picnic with my mum and eating strawberry swirl ice cream.

Being rushed to hospital with suspected meningitis, and the ambulance guy explaining that we could see out of the ambulance window but people couldn't see in it.

I think I was around 2 years old for both of those

And did you have it? Scary stuff.

I think mine was on the swing in my garden and I was rhyming words with daddy and mummy and I said mummy bummy and my dad told me off :(

What a disgusting thing to say

Typical Marc

No I actually never had it but here is a strange fact...

The same day I was rushed to hospital, Stuarts sister was too (she was the same age as me) she unfortunately did have it and passed away.

Obviously we never knew any of that until we met years later.

That is strange and very sad story. How did you know it was the same day?

It was our parents that spoke about it.

That is weird. Have you always lived quite close to each other then? How old was she? Sorry questions questions

I do remember a stool chair falling on my head and being rushed to hospital.

Hmm all these traumatic events seem to be the ones we remember

I also have a memory of one of my brothers and sisters babysitting me and deciding they were going to pierce my ears, that ended up a right mess.

...our sub-conscious remembers pain/emotion more than happy/emotion...

...I remember running after my brother and running through a glass door and it breaking and the blood...maybe that's why I have a 'blood phobia' now....

Sucking instead of blowing paint when in reception and being sick

Throwing a tin opener at my sister, and my fingers being trapped in a door, when you moved it either way it trapped my fingers so my mum had to phone the fire brigade to get them to take the door off it's hinges!
