At least one has to be all-stars, right?

I'm afraid I've got some bad news for you. Not next year. Julie confirmed that it isn't in a EW.com interview.

and Ninja'ed. I posted the same news. (I didn't think I wouldn't be the only one posting the news.)

Big Brother continues to be the one of the summer’s most dominant programs, and with each season, Allison and Rich produce the most twisted ways to evolve the series creatively.

If/When they do the next all-stars i hope it's an even split between seasons, not top loaded like when season 6 had more returning houseguests than every other season. it should be 1 from each season.

ugh this show really needs to be put down and I SWEAR if it's still more than ~70 days I'll throw a fit.

Will be 90 days again as it fits their schedule, Groddy milking as much as possible. 97 is too long as they didn't have any space so had to shuffle all the eps around.

some were thinking maybe in 2018 for the next AS to compete with Olympics but i dont think that too smart.
Should also be BB8 onwards
i agree. always thought that since the last AS. one from each season would be weak sauce. of course there might be more from one season than the other. i totally understood why for the first one. the SOV6 were really popular.

all seasons should be around the 33 ep mark like it usually is. 40 for this season was overkill. i been dreading finishing this season for at least a month now.:joker:

i still need to start up on BBAU ffs

I know it's still going to be super long because production can't do anything right anymore, but the schedule stuff is BS. If you're referring to the Survivor premiere/BB final coinciding, it's been like that for a while and they just made the season start earlier (late June as opposed to early July.) The schedule's been shifted around anyway the past few weeks, going from Sun/Wed/Thur to Sun/Tue/Wed because of football, so the schedules really don't line up well at all. They really need to go back to 10 weeks starting the beginning of July.

i agree starting the first week of July at the earliest like it was for the most part is best

Eh, I like longer seasons.

Short seasons are for the weak.

lmfao no they're not. All the longer seasons have been dreadful by the end. It's a worldwide BB trend, how often does BBUK go stale past Day 70 or so? God I can't even imagine how bad BBUK13 would be at the end if it lasted 3 more weeks than it did. Both with BBUS and BBUK, most plots and storylines naturally finish themselves around the 10th week

Not too sure how many days I prefer the most but I didn't mind the extra days at all this season. And this was a decent-to-good season to me... nothing special but definitely underrated for sure. Not sure exactly where it ranks but it's above average out of the seasons I've seen. If they can have a really great season go for 90 days I'm all for it.

I will say this particular season could've went a lot better if it was shorter, though, just cause it started getting too anti-climatic until the very end (when it had to be reasonably climatic).

The rewind week was an especially bad idea but at least the result was good.

Maybe one of these seasons will make me finally enjoy the US BB.

I was referring to football, had it been 83/90 days the schedule would've stayed the same as the football hadn't started yet. I know it goes with the survivor premiere.

A full allstars is needed, not just three/four returnees.

I regret to say but I really think BB is going down hill

yes if the season was not extended. the football was only a problem for BB scheduling wise because they just added Thursday Night Football to CBS this year. it was on the NFL Network before this season. this season would have to be 2-3 weeks less to not run into football.

agree. i dont think they will. the bigger twists of the season like BOB/dual HOH, golden keys, MVP, etc. havent been repeated.
