Lizzy and Raign battle it out in secret sing-off

The X Factor's Lizzy Pattinson and Raign Rabin have performed a secret sing-off.

Their performances weren't broadcast on the ITV show, but exclusive footage was revealed on ITV2's The Xtra Factor.

Pattinson and Rabin were challenged by Simon Cowell to sing a capella and fight for their place in the competition.

After the pair performed, Cowell deliberated and ultimately said: "Raign, you've got the better recording voice."

He then went on to say that the audience were more supportive of Lizzy. The judge then chose to save Lizzy's seat, knocking Raign out of the competition.

Cowell's full team of Over 25s includes Fleur East, Helen Fulthorpe, Ben Haenow, Jay James, Stevi Ritchie and Pattinson.

I don't think raign necessarily would either; being talked about isn't always a good thing when it's not for the right reasons. I'd say lizzy is more marketable to be honest. raign has a lot of work to do if she wants to be successful.

She's already written a fairly-good sounding song so I don't think so... don't know anything about Lizzy's past but she doesn't strike me as a writer.

Lizzie is pointless (and very unlikely to get through to finals anyway) but let's face it, neither of them were going to last long in the competition, so it's a bit of a moot point which of them were selected at this stage. Same goes for than new girl band and the How Now Brown Pows. Out and forgotten in the first few weeks no matter which goes through.
