Sad news, I have a CD of her and like her simple but compelling songwriting ability.

Lynsey De Paul,Now In The Elysian Fields - Yes Honestly:eureka::bigsmile:
Lynsey De Paul, singer-songwriter,pianist,music arranger, composer, record producer, Ivor Novello winner and TV personality, born Friday,11th June,1948,passed on to The Other World on Wednesday,1st October,2014,aged 66.
I always imagine the good looking Lynsey De Paul in her 20s or 30s,not as a 66 year old woman.......but I bet she was a young 66:) being young in heart:bigsmile:
Lynsey will be having a great time with her hobbies, music, interests and her Dream Man in the Afterlife now and forevermore:love::eureka::bigsmile:
I bought Lynsey De Paul's No Honestly from ITunes yesterday, even though
I've got a Jet Records 45 rpm vinyl record of this splendid song-record:bigsmile:
No Honestly, which won Lynsey an Ivor Novello songwriting award, has a great and interesting arrangement by Lynsey and features beautiful tenor
saxophone playing, and a great and unusual metallic beat - I would love to know how Lynsey achieved this metal on metal sound 4th beat, which occurs
after every two second interval. This metallic beat is quite distinctive, and well done Lynsey for including it in your arrangement!
Lynsey De Paul,No Honestly - a great song-record that has a superb musical arrangement and production by Lynsey De Paul, and superb tenor saxaphone playing, and a beautiful metallic beat. Jet Records,1974.:-
