nah, it's complete garbage. The newbie cast is completely uninspiring and the coaches and the coaches are pretty dreadful in their own right.

lmfao he gets DESTROYED in 14 and the only good part is the look on Dan's face during the jury questioning when he realizes that he's going to get destroyed in a vote against Ian of all people. Losing in an embarrassing 6-1 fashion just about cancels out winning 7-0, it was like Russell Hantz in Big Brother.

He's a sleaze con artist who isn't willing to let his 15 minutes of fame go. Like, just looking at his website where he's trying to market himself as a life coach and an author and motivational speaker :joker: he's just a loser who was on a mediocre (now ****ty) reality show with a cult following.

Gameplay is the show. Also, almost everything on the show falls as gameplay for that matter. It's supposed to be cared about and is really the most entertaining part/aspect of the show by far.

The HGs matter first and foremost, though. If you don't care about any of the HGs, you're certainly not going to care about how they play the game. It's the HGs that make watching the show a different experience than just reading the Wikipedia summary about what happened and who made what moves.

The purpose of this show is to entertain, and it just so happens that a lot of the qualities of a good game are not entertaining and actually stifle entertainment. Good gameplayers, as we've seen year after year, prevent drama from happening, target loose cannons they can't control, and bring ridiculously impressionable and gullible goats with them to the end. There's no suspense, no shake ups, nothing. Derrick played circles around everyone else in BB16 and his win was obvious from the start, but it also made the season a complete waste of time to watch for nearly 100 days.

I've always said that gameplay can be an agent of entertainment, but it's not inherently entertaining on its own. Nakomis's six finger plan was entertaining because of the story behind it and the people involved. Most other backdoor plans are just along the lines of "X is a threat to my game so I need to backdoor him, I hope it works D:" and that's not entertaining whatsoever.

My post wasn't even a complaint about people caring about gameplay, it was mainly in response to Calderyon not caring for Daniele in BB13 because she didn't play the game well (as if that's some personality trait), when Daniele in 13 was snarky and funny and self-aware and Daniele in 8 was a ****ing brat.

I watched the live feeds. The tv show isn't always accurate.

The Silent Six was a fake alliance. It was never going to last more than a week. Frank didn't trust Dan, and Shane and Britney didn't trust Boogie and Frank. And even within the Quack Pack, Dan and Britney were secretly gunning after each other. The night the Silent Six was formed Britney made plans to go back on it. If she had won HOH the week Frank did he would've been her target. Shane was wishy-washy, but he would've done whatever Britney told him to do.

But you can't say Ian is better because he won(if that is what you are implying,when i said Dan>Ian and you said but Ian won So), that is not even stating a opinion, your basically saying all the winners are better then others because they won, does that mean you think Jordan is better of the season 11? Well if you won and got the jury to vote for you, you clearly did something that no one else could do. You don't really seem to give any players credit if you don't like them as people or whatever, just like how you don't give Maggie any credit as a player and say that she won out of luck or w/e and Janelle was robbed. If we're talking about the BB6 final two, I like Ivette more than Maggie, but you can't deny that Maggie ran that house and deserved her win. Who you like more isn't synonymous with who was a better player, who was more deserving, etc.

Of course things have gotten fuzzy since Grodner took over and the amount of rigging and manipulation there's been, but tbh at this point it's really just another element in the game and you have to outplay the producers too.

I share the sentiment of both to be honest. Dan in my opinion cemented his status as one of the best in the game by managing to make it to the end of the show in spite of having such a big target on his back, he should have been THE target when the coaches entered the game and to make the final 2 with those circumstances was impressive, however he did himself no favours with his aggressive game play which upset a lot of people and this time without the passive and cold Memphis figure as the final 2 alternative. By the time of the final 5 the only person Dan stood a chance against was Jenn, and even that would have been a tough ask with his jury management. It did however create one of the appeals of the season for me, seeing how desperate Dan was getting to make it to the end that he was making all of these aggressive moves which the audience knew were ticking people off left and right practically turning Dan into a Russell Hantz goat figure. Ian did deserve to win that series, but only because Dan did more then enough not to.

What is interesting to note however is the reactions post show. Dan seems for all extensive purposes OK with losing in the final and doesn't hold any kind of resentment towards the jurors (which IMO tells me he knew he was going to lose during the game) whilst Ian seems really bitter that people don't give him any credit for his win and instead see him as benefiting from a bitter jury. It's quite an interesting role reversal.

Well considering that the goal of the game is to get people to vote for you to win in the end (that is a fact), and Ian did that (that is a fact) while Dan didn't (that is a fact), it kinda speaks for itself.
