Disgraced Dave Lee Travis has been offered £300,000 to go on the next Celebrity Big Brother. Channel 5 invited the former Radio 1 DJ soon after her got a suspended jail term for squeezing a TV researchers breasts.
But bosses may bail out now it has emerged the Attorney-General could send the case over to the Appeal Court over public complaints that the sentence was too soft.
A shows source said: "We made him an offer as he has a great story to tell. However now it appears he could end up serving time. In that case we would have to think seriously about whether he's the right kind of person for the show." Travis, 69, real name David Griffin, got suspended jail term after he was convicted of the 1995 indecent assault. He was cleared of 13 indecent assaults and one alleged sex assault

The evidence from the little girl was that Le Vell always stank of alcohol and this was BEFORE it came publicly out that Le Vell was a drunk.

At the end of the trial, Roache was surprised he'd 'got off with it'. And before the trial he boasted on Aussie TV that he had managed to get over 1,000 women in his bed.

Guilty as hell. All I can think was that the Jury were Corrie fans.
