Garden spiders do that - they make these insanely huge webs and they're only really small. It's like Lesley Jordan living alone in Buckingham Palace.

I haven't had many spiders in my house for a while, I had a bit of an infestation last year and I think I managed to introduce most of them to the bottom of my shoe so now I like to think the survivors know not to come into my house.

how big do they get? that first link makes them look football sized. if they are massive ima need a firearm tbh :bawling:

they have cute faces though, just a shame about those damn legs...

I have conkers in every corner of my bedroom, window and the door and touch wood...haven't seen one in my room for months.

Unless they're waiting till I am asleep and then crawling in my mouth or ears or something :(

you could prob trip over one... only kidding, their a tad bigger than a normal house spider and the legs are a lil bit longer and thicker.
Check outside your windows for egg sacks that's how mine get in as I'm too soft hearted to remove them when I wash the windows haha!

spiders hate citrus and mint so spray the corners of your rooms and vac up a lot and you'll be fine.

oh thank god they're only small, couldnt be dealing with them if they were huge, thanks for the advice though! i already hoover ceilings/windowframes/corners etc and use conkers but did not know about mint and citrus!

do they not scare you? you dont kill them or anything? D:

I try to put them outside if I can, there have been a few fatalities though... they do scare me if they're biggish.
