In fact if you watch Sundays xtra factor there is a scene where the three girls are on piano, through the glass door you see a girl walk past I'm pretty sure it's lola. I doubt any judges apart from Simon has a say in what acts get picked. Judge's house is purely ceremonial since the producers will have made their decisions beforehand which contestants go through to the lives.
