..yeah I think it is going to be perfection..I watched the first episode last night and even after around 10 minutes, I was totally absorbed in the main characters, I connected with them right from the beginning ..'people stories' are what I love most and how the complexities of their lives unfold etc..and with this, the complexity of the family....

they get amazon prime cause they save tons of money on shipping, if you buy other stuff on amazon regularly, it's actually a good deal. That being said, i don't have it. hell i don't even have netflix, (but i still have my ex's netlflix password.)

We have Amazon Prime because we have DVD's included so unless the rents want a movie I pretty much control it and get all the brand new DVD releases if I post them on Saturday afternoon and they post them Monday morning.

Yeah the rest of the main family are generally dislikable even with Maura around, except her ex-wife/the mother who is an icon.

I don't really see where it can go without Jeffrey/Maura, and I've been frustrated with the anti-Jeffrey sentiments about him not being trans, a trans actress should play the role, etc, but obviously this is an entirely different issue and if he's fired, so be it.

But it's just so annoying because it's one of the warmest, most real and blunt comedies around and been such a huge turning point for trans actresses / actors. Would be such a shame for it to end like this. A completely new character would be interesting, perhaps tied to Maura's friends Davina and/or Shea.

Edit: I haven't seen season 4 yet :laugh:

I'm not sure about Shea coming back because whilst I enjoyed the episodes that focussed on her/Josh, she wasn't a terribly compelling character.
