I liked Matthew. But some people thought he was just up himself and did not get his sense of humour.

I didn't find him funny at all. I liked him at first, but not from an entertainment perspective. I liked him because he seemed to be someone I would get along with, and that Marlon speech he gave in the Diary room made me like him more.

But I went rapidly off him, because of his behavior after leaving the house.
The constant Twitter abuse he gave Helen every single day for the six weeks after he'd been evicted was very worrying, and frankly repetitive.
His constant use of the word "chav" was boring, and quiet judgmental.
Overall, he seemed to act like a sore loser, who was clinging to his 5 minutes of fame, just because he had been evicted over Ash.

Matthew deserved way more, him and Chris were really in the wrong year.

Depends on what you're looking for I guess, and really any housemate can shine depending on if the rest of the group complement them.

Even with a group that didn't suit them at all, I found Chris and Matthew infinitely more interesting than the likes of Helen, Biannca and Winston.
