The 'Youth' singer voiced her disapproval of Platt's version of 'Happy' on Twitter, suggesting she copied her BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge cover of the Pharrell Williams hit
Foxes wrote: "Smart choice @cherylOfficial @TheXfactor @simoncowell to mash up Happy and [Massive Attack's 1998 track] 'Teardrop' wish I'd thought of that...
"Oh wait, I did...In March (@BBCR1 #LiveLounge)"

The blatant copy, waiting for a barrage of "who?" comments, clearly one of the producers knows http://i.imgur.com/BAdA1aO.gif

someone's a bit annoyed she's reduced to the level of 10-second Doctor Who cameos
(but yes expecting originality from an x factor contestant with a week's notice is a bit naive)

Don't know her. This is nothing new anyway. James Arthur copied Krept and Konan's idea and Cher straight up stole Rap bars from other artists

Lauren got a lot of credit for something she stole of somebody else

On the X factor?? NEVER! I can't believe this is happening. And after all of these years of originality, can't believe X factor would stoop so low. Usually it's other people copying x factor, not the other way around. I couldn't believe it when Adele blatantly ripped off James Arthur a couple of years ago. And the hundreds of "artists" Who copied the amazing Alexandra Burke original, "Hallelujah", was beyond a joke.

To be fair they don't sound alike it's both just a slowed down version of happy, both good voices but both a boring version of an annoying song and that's where it should end

But why slow down Happy? Happy?! Soo bored of this reality trend of taking an upbeat song and making it " deeper and profund" by slowing it down. It's turgid and dull.

I don't think it's the fact that the girl sang that version, it was that Simon was licking Cheryl's arse by praising what a great idea she had, when it wasn't her idea.
