Andrea - Predictable, will probably be given diva songs at every opportunity. Give him something different to sing.
Jake - He's just gonna be given terrible song choices every week isn't he?
Paul - Yawn.
Jack - Somebody did a accoustic version of Straight Up on American Idol/XF US (I can't remember), it'll probably be a ripoff of that version.

Chloe - I was looking forward to her doing Call Me tbh.
Lauren - wtf is this? Irene Cara week?
Lola - I'm in a boredom induced coma at the mere thought of this.
Steph - This will be terrible.

Only the Young - Ew, stop with the cheese.
Stereo Kicks - I can't draw up enough energy to care about anything this group does.

Ben - Who?
Fleur -Could be good.
Jay - Painful.
Stevi - Sensational choice.

I'm disappointed with Mel and Simon, Andrea's song is nothing but predictable, He'll knock it out of the park, but it's just so.. non-exciting and Ben's choice, Jesus, it's just awful, wtf is Simon playing at?

Omg Stevi Ritchie Never Gonna Give You Up (Rick Astley) he is going to pull it off again this week with that choice the same as his song from last week

Andrea's song - BORING

Excited to see what the others have to offer though :) here's hoping Andrea pulls a Danyl Johnson and ends up in the bottom 3 in week 3!

Cheryl isn't putting much effort into her acts songs either, 2 Irene Cara songs, John Lennon and Blondie? 80's 101

Here's hoping Lola lands herself in the bottom 2 this week and gets sent packing for boring everyone to tears once again :fc:

Jealous Guy

That will be a MOMENT.

Chloe has been screwed right over, that is nothing but cheese, she'd have nailed Blondie and instead they gave it to the one on borrowed time.

Jay James

What the actual hell have they done???
Firstly Chloe jasmine would have been great at call me, instead they have given it to Steph who will not suit singing the song! And given Chloe fame which if she is trying to be taken as a serious singer is an awful choice, I don't like her anyway so she will hopefully go home. Steph should have been given a slow meaningful song she doesn't have the type of voice for upbeat track, I love call me, I love blondie, I love Steph but them combined. No no no. I actually like the choices for the other girls though

The boys, yeah not too bad I guess but could have been better

The overs, seriously?? Jay singing the proclaimers? Is that a joke?? He will find himself in the bottom with that! Stevi was supposed to be singing addicted to love but to be fair he will be the exact same whatever he sang. Fleurs and bens ain't too bad!

Groups, stereo kicks song is extremely camp not the market they should be aiming for but then again Louis is there mentor and only the young, as much as I enjoy a good boogie to come on Eileen it's kind of a novelty song and they would have been better off with the original choice of power of love!

It's all so wrong!

My predictions, Steph straight out with Jay and Chloe in the sing off...

Is Jay and Jack's song choices serious? It sounds like obvious sabotage to me.

Black Dagger

Jack's is obvious to change around, they've done it on AI, he'll be fine with his guitar.

I remember when the auditionees sung One Moment In Time on the final and they brought out the fat one on a throne and Sharon/Dannii looked on in disgust, one of the greatest performances on the show ever. Hope Andrea delivers.

I thought the 80s songs were going to be a bit more upbeat. I love Only the Young but not sure about their song choice.

Where is Footloose? A bit of Cyndi Lauper? Simple Minds? or.. HUEY LEWIS AND THE NEWS or.. FINE YOUNG CANNIBALS!

I love the 80s and they could have had a spectrum of BETTER SONGS.

Beastie
18-10-2014, 02:52 AM
A few of them have good songs. Like a few of you have said Stevi will pull out all the stops again and survive another week.

I am sure they are giving a few of them downgraded songs in the hope to get rid of them.

Where is the queen of pop herself??? MADONNA!!

Natalie.
