are you exactly the same as you are on here?

I find it hard to believe that most people on here are exactly the same on tibb as they are in real life...

For me, Im a lot less gay IRL. mainly because i don't comment on boobs or actresses/musicians who i would bang, because most people dont know im a massive gay

I'm a little less ranty irl, cause I save my anger until I can rant to ppl i don't know irl (u guys xo) and then explode

ummm i'm just as cat crazy on the internet as i am in the real world.

also, i dont know if people find this strange, but I'm really strict with the kids I teach... A friend of mine thought i would be a push over at work and couldn't believe that I don't let the kids get away with things. I don't like beat them up or anything, lmao, I just like give them warnings and make them have a 'time out'

I am different, but the same, it's hard to explain. I am a very quiet person, sometimes I go days without speaking. I don't ever hide my love of cats and if I see random cats outside I try to call them and say hi but they never come to me, I don't ever say hi to people though. :joker:

Most people around here are unintelligent, uninformed and unaccepting, so I find myself conforming a lot more than I do online, I don't look at people when I pass them, I don't point at things in fear of being misunderstood. If I didn't live somewhere particularly dangerous I would surely be more like my online self.

I'm not as gay in real life as i am on here either, I've been told by people when they first meet me that I'm not as camp as they expected, so there's that :laugh:

I'm not particularly confident, i couldn't go up to a stranger and start a conversation, just the thought makes me die a thousand deaths inside.

I am as argumentative though, I don't mind having an argument if needs be, i try not to start them though.

I'm pretty much the same in real life, although I do make more jokey comments and display more humour that I do on here because some people online just dont realise when you are having a laugh, I am a bit more ranty in real life too.

I’m in my own world a lot of the time, seldom without my ipod or a book in my hand. Like I don’t know how others view me online, but I feel like I’m less standoffish. While I would chat to anyone here, I’m the opposite in real life, I’m way quieter, however I would chat loads to my sister, but not really when others are about.

I’m not fond of crowds or groups, I mean socially, I feel self conscious, somewhat paranoid and the urge to get out of there builds up in me. While on the other hand, in a busy thread discussing a show here, I find that fun.

So yea, I believe I worry a hell of a lot more offline, that can be exhausting, if I could change something about myself, that would be one of the first.

Online and offline if someone insults me, it usually has a big effect. Deep down I konw it shouldn’t but I can’t help it. Anyway I suppose the main difference overall is I’m I’m less easy going offline and more extroverted online.

Yeah same actually, irl it's a lot easier to tell if someone is joking or not as well, we miss the tone of voice and facial expressions online

agreed with this, I sort of feel more comfortable in real life than online for this very reason but I always thought it was an unpopular opinion :blush:.

I guess when you get to know individuals online more, you kind of get to know their form but it takes longer
