I guess not all of them can be expected to carry a full track like Stevi does and they have to resort to cheating, but hopefully it doesn't become a regular occurrence.

I love it when joke act Stans attack the real musical talent :fan:

She did well tonight, but she cheated the theme as it's a 90's song.

Lola cheated too, as it was a 70s song.

And everyone else cheated for slowing their tracks down

They all muck about with the themes,Imagine was originally a 70s song but was a number one in the 80s after John Lennon was murdered, also Jealous Guy, it also became a number one in the 80s for Bryan Ferry.

I wouldn't condemn Fleur for what happened tonight really either.

it was a daft criticism when it happens with Stereo Kicks, OTY and Jake a lot more noticeably

How is putting your own style to really cheesy songs cheating? And I thought that Lola's was an 80's track tbf, and tbh I thought that she was horrific tonight so I'm not gonna defend Lola too much.

i didn't have a clue what was meant by "cheating" the judges talk rubbish because clearly she's rapping and singing too plus as other forum members have said on here loads of other acts had more backing sounds on their tracks

if im honest i did prefer Fleur's last week's performance its still in my head it was soo catchy . she's proved she can sing and she's doing her own style she's good i like her

It's like saying 'ok this weeks theme is Dance track week' and then everyone slowing it down to a boring ass ballad

Fleur was literally the only one that didn't bore me to death.

I wouldn't care unless they didn't pick a dance track on the night like Tamera did during Disco week last year.

As long as they do good performances it doesn't bother me, even with Fleur's cheating the theme she was still my third favourite performance on the night.

At least Fleur could actually pull off an entertaining performance

Crimson Dynamo

Fleur at least had a decent 80s hit and not a horrible 80s wedding reception dullfest like Come on Eileen (Dexys had so many great other songs).

At least Stevie did a timeless classic as for the others...apart from Lauren
