Cheryl was pretty brilliant tonight. Considering she had to contend with Simon every 10 seconds as well.

To replace louis?

I dunno who to replace, maybe Mel, I just loved Dannii as a judge

I've lost my love for Dannii after this series of Aus.

#justiceforreigan

Definitely not here for her replacing King Louis either.

What did she do in this season of Aus? I always saw her as the most considerate and helpful judge to her acts. Plus her comments were always the most on-point

Despite her pedantry, Mel. The comments @ Fleur using backing vocals, Jake being ill were pedantic but she gave fair comments to Only the Young (too cheesy), Stereo Kicks (too noisy).

Cheryl lost her temper too quickly and just does that dumbfounded "um how dare you speak whilst i'm speaking" look that eats up too much time and as a result she never finishes a sentence. Her points about Stereo Kicks not harmonising were valid but then she got bogged down in the silly 1D/hysteria comparison.

Simon was generally Simon and thought he was funnier than he was and hyped up his crap acts, but was accurate re: Steph being boring, Jack being weaker and Jake's vocals being, at times, terrible.

And Louis used 'you remind me of a young ______' three times tonight, and unnecessarily took cheap shots at Simon's appearance and Cheryl's dress, so he's improving.

She's just generally been a bit more sulky and miserable and her mentoring has left a lot to be desired, even if Brothers3 do suck and deserve no place in the final. Plus she's had a vendetta against one of my faves the past few weeks (she left this week just before the final </3)

Mel. Cheryl just gets nastier with every critique.

Mel B for me, didn't think I would care much for her as a Judge but she is doing okay and this week she really said what she thought but was fair about it too.

I felt we had some old Cheryl tonight, she proved herself to be the best on the panel. Mel was all over the place - she seemed to be really invested in rubbish acts and then criticize good acts for the most pointless things which could end up swaying a public vote (like accusing Fleur of cheating because of a backing track when most acts use them and Ben for complaining about being ill). Simon seemed really cruel to any act which wasn't his own, but I suppose that's to be expected now, and Louis is just...Louis.

They are all so annoying, Louis annoyed me the least last night but the way they make it all about them really pisses me off, having petty squabbles whilst the contestants are standing there wondering wtf is going on.

That's true tbh, I noticed last night the majority of the contestants had no idea what to say after the judge squabbles - they don't know whether to respect their mentor and stick up for them or show respect for all the judges so they usually just say something like 'I'll take comments on board'.

Simon at least says what we are thinking. Melb talks crap about her ones, Louis is pointless and Cheryl is ok

the ones who take the comments on board :worship:.
I have zero time for those who answer back because they clearly think they're above receiving criticism.

Yet one of her own acts was in the same position...

It was her own act :joker: she had a go at Jake for it, he's her act isn't he?

The whole 'Kermit' thing was really unfunny and irritating as well.

It was her own act :joker: she had a go at Jake for it, he's her act isn't he?

It was Ben she told to man up.

trying to ruin fleurs chances when i heard fleur all the way through.. another judge like tulisa? trying to ruin people's chances

Liam-
19-10-2014, 06:52 PM
Jesus christ, she stated her opinion, one i happen to agree with, the backing track was too loud, just because she states her opinion on someone's backing track doesn't mean she's trying to 'ruin peoples chances'

mel b calls fleur a cheat.. and cheats herself.. poor fleur #prayforfleur

Really gets on my nuts when people stan so hard for someone that they can't admit that they aren't perfect.

They were all pretty annoying.

The first time I've watched it properly all series and every single one of them were self indulgent, petty and absurd.

Especially Louis friggin Walsh who uses the same three catchphrases in different variations for every single act every single week. He gets paid to do nothing but compare a contestant's physical appearance with someone completely unrelated to the performance or irrelevant.
