[Philip Davies, the Conservative MP, has had a heated newsroom exchange
with Jon Snow, during which he accused the Channel 4 News presenter
of leftwing bias and suggested it was time he retired.
The row occurred while Davies was on a tour of the Channel 4 News offices
on Tuesday afternoon and prompted
Snow’s colleague Krishnan Guru-Murthy to intervene to ask the MP to leave.
Numerous Channel 4 News journalists witnessed the verbal bust-up, which sources
present said lasted about 10 minutes,
as Davies was looking round the ITN building where Channel 4 News
is made on Gray’s Inn Road in central London.
“It was quite extraordinary,” said one witness
of the unexpected exchange as Snow and Guru-Murthy prepared for
Tuesday night’s edition of the award-winning programme.]

I don't know about being a lefite but he has got rather erratic as to his interviewing of late.

He sounds typical of a lot of MPs a lot of whom are ridiculously rude. I didn't think that was a secret either.

Politics - Sanctuary for the unemployable.

Just another overfed, overpaid, useless priviledged buffoon who would find it hard to gain employment as a 'refuse collector' were it not for the 'old boy' network and the current political system.

What do these turds actually do to earn their considerable 'Benefit' payments? Perhaps the TV companies could make the sequel to 'Benefits Street' and feature these pricks - how about calling it 'Benefits Easy Street'?

I moan about them, and there are some rude, inept, loose cannons out there, but there are lots of good MPs from all parties; people who are really committed to doing their best and making a change. I wouldn't want their job for their salary, they get less than a middle-manager in the City and a lot less than a chief executive at a district council. And they have to put up with people (myself, sometimes) slating them continually. You couldn't pay me enough for that.

Of course I am being extreme here Liv. I know that there are some of all parties who are genuine in their intentions and commitment, but these are in a minority, and I believe that even the most idealogical of newly elected MP's soon realise that they are 'swimming against the tide' and for the most part rendered impotent by an institutionally inept and corrupt system.

Channel 4 is the least biased channel imo, nowhere near as bad as the BBC.

It takes 2 people to make an argument in which insults were traded back and forth for 10 minutes, and from reports I have read it was Mr Snow that started the exchange.

This presents a rather 1 sided and biased account of events in itself I think

Yes Jon Snow
knew of him, as he had stated Jon was left wing
and he did say it to the MP.

But The MP told him to Jack it in. (his job)
that was not nice

And he was removed from the office

Yes 10mins we would love to hear
