David Bowie since before time existed for many member on here. My Uncle was a huge fan and played it to me non stop from prob Hunky Dory to Low. I probably heard DB albums every weekend for like 8 years or so.

At that age he was like a space alien - i had no idea what he was and was both scared and fascinated. Its hard to convey how ahead of his time he was back in the day.

Been a big fan of Corey Taylor for 12+ years, Metallica and Pantera for almost the same, nothing else is really as consistent. Probably quite oddly to some, from being 3 years old,(in 1995),my Grandmother used to sing 'Downtown' to me all the time.
She was a strong fan of 'Petula Clark' and I got to love her songs and her voice,so much so that as I got older and started buying CDs etc for myself, I looked for and bought all I could find of her.

I have all my Grandmothers vinyl of her and have amassed with ehr French, German, Italian and English work near 100 CDs of her too.
Obviously a lot of hits collections of various different hits and songs but I adore her voice and feel sure even though I am still only 22,that no matter what age I may reach,I will still be playing and loving her music and voice right to the end.

Having those old 78 rpm records of her,from my Grandmother, that date all the way back to 1949,it is turning into a pretty impressive collection of an artiste,if I may say so myself.
