View Full Version : Will Lola do an Alexandra Burke?
Will Lola never be particularly popular until the very end, just like Alexandra was?
God I hope not, she isn't as good as the judges are saying :umm2:

If anybody is going to do an Alexandra Burke it would be Paul or Fleur

Nah, Fleur's a better comparison to Alexandra I think. Lola's just a ballad singer and Alexandra didn't get any attention until she started to do uptempo and choreography.
Alexandra was still a ballad singer until like half way through, still time for Lola.

I wouldn't say so, she's pretty unspectacular at ballads and that's meant to be her forte so I'll be shocked if she has any versatility.
She might have done okay if Andrea wasn't in the competition but he'll end up taking a lot of the ballad singer votes. She'll probably leave in the next two weeks.

I like Lola but lets not pretend she's as good or as versatile as Alexandra.

No, Queen Alexandra shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as that carbon but out.

Alexandra was better. Lola needs to stop doing dullard songs and becoming a poor mans Adele.

I can see Lola getting the votes from middle aged middle England types who love middle of road ballads, but can't bring themselves to support someone who is
Italian
chubby
they suspect is one of those "homosexual" types

I really really hope not.
She was terrible yesterday! She screeched through that whole song.

She also did On the radio in week 4, so 3 out of her first 5 performances were uptempo songs.. when will Lola?
Lola is getting unnecessary hate though

Lola really lacks that certain something imo.
I also don't like her playing on the Fishmomger thing as it's only a part time job for her as she's the Daughter of a Footballer called Wes Saunders.
