I will always remember watching a film called 'creep' at my friend's sleepover, idk if it's because we were excitable yr 7's desperate to be frightened but we loved it. I always recommend it now. :laugh:

I love The Shining :flutter: it isn't necessarily scary but it's still a mind**** kind-of film, I really like it.

I'd recommend Carrie, Luke. Misery is good too but I don't think it's what your after in terms of loads of people dying, lmao.

..I found the Strangers really terrifying...also I know it's not a horror movie as such but Silence of the Lambs is a good one or something like Blair Witch...will you be with people when you watch them, Luke..?..it can work better if you are and someone creeps outside and starts tapping on the window or whatever at a scary bit...or maybe that's just my OH...

The scariest movie to me as a kid was E.T. that scene when elliot is outside and ET is hiding in the shed is scary. plus the whole idea of aliens running around in your backyard i still think is really scary. My mom rented it cause she thought it was a cute movie for kids, and then she laughed at me when i got scared. :( I was only like 6 years old when i saw it. To make matters worse, when I asked her if it was real she said no one knows if aliens are real but there is probably life on other planets. That didn't help me sleep.

I'm still scared of UFOs.

I watched Alien when i was 11, i couldn't sleep for weeks, i was up every night crying saying there was aliens in the bedroom, one night my sister screamed saying something touched her face, imagine 3 girls screaming and the police turning up 15 minutes later:laugh: turns out it was the cat who had brushed past my sister touching her face with his tail:hehe:
