I mean, just examining John James at face value he's a misogynistic asshole who bullied women out of the house and pretty much got away with murder because of his "good looks" and the psychotic John Josie fanbase, which pretty much consists of fraus oohing and aahing at a mix-match relationship and eating an entire can of Pringles, thinking that if Josie could find love that there's hope for them too. Of course he ruined the series. He's cut from the same cloth as other season ruiners Ziggy, Darnell, Siavash, Aaron, etc. Dexter fits in there too, he just wasn't nearly as effective.

Yeah the one time his behavior really was uncalled for was the whole thing with Rachel. Sure, his dislike for Rachael was quite irrational, but that of Rachel really was unnecessary and showed quite an unlikeable side to him. Still think Rachel was robbed in the three-way eviction. It should've been Dave who was evicted. Heck both Rachel and Rachael were robbed in BB11, if you ask me!

The big push that got Sunshine evicted was when John James dragged her across the grass in the garden or whatever and she "overreacted" to her carpetburn, and then she showed it her leg on Big Mouth and showed that she wasn't really overreacting at all.

Corin owned John James more than once. She had her bedroom meltdown early on but the grand finale of it all was "Most men would be disgusted by what you said about Rachael but I mean you're just generally disrespectful to women" and "If Nathan hadn't been angry about his comments would John James have cared? Nope he quote unquote wouldn't give a rip ughhh what an awful pig I need a fag." Like, BBUK has had soooooooo many controlling and whiny misogynists but Corin was the only person to outright say that they hate women and it's disgusting. It was a thing of beauty.

He seemed to be one of the more emotionally upfront and honest housemates of the series, whereas Grace/Nikki were willing to just assassinate any character trait. I mean, Nikki's calling him a 'fat ox', in amongst all of the transphobic comments about Sam, put me firmly in his 'group' I suppose. It was a very cliquey BB in hindsight wasn't it? I just think that, whilst imperfect, he'd have been the housemate of the series I'd have got on with the most (most in common, I guess) and - I know you like her but :laugh: - Imogen really was annoying in the most futile sense of the word.

Fair, fair that makes sense to me. I agree about the cliquey nature of the series too.. but then again maybe that's what ended up making it one of the best ones ever. It was so entertaining to watch.. even good old Imogen :)
