This year has had a few other fame*****s : Chloe J, Blonde Electra and Stevi Ritchie. None of these simply want music success. They want fame by any route reality tv, music, presenting, showmance, tv or general notority (Jade Goody RIP). But at least Chloe J had the good grace to reject CBB.

I don't get Jake going into I'm a Celeb. Are ITV desperate for people to go on this series or something? Out of this years XF lineup Jake seems the worst person to pick from. He doesn't seem to have a massive fanbase or be the act everyone is talking about. It just seems random to have him go in.

Agreed, Jake touted for this and I suspect a good looking male celeb pulled out and needed a "hunk" replacement [under 20 year olds won't know or want to watch old wrinklies celebs] and he won't cost too much as he's not really a celeb and desperate to raise his profile. He knows he won't get a record deal so is moving on his "model/ presenter/ singer/ whatever fame job hunt.
