Does anyone see the advertisements at the bottom of the forum? :puzzled: I thought the forum was ad-free?

Not as far as I remember. When I open a new page up, before things load they come up on the screen first - that definitely didnt happen before. :hugesmile:

They are there on a trial period, and are at the very bottom of every page. People who aren't registered on the boards have one at the top too, if they register or log in it disappears.

I just want to see if any income can be made off them to pay for TiBB fees. Im not looking to profit from them at all.

If they annoy people too much I can take them down. Users don't often scroll down past the quick reply box though, so I didn't think they are that noticable.

Well it's worked..I dont think they are going to bother anyone enough that you have to take them down..if anyone complains then they are being silly.

I think that they are great if they are going to help Mark to fund this forum - he pays for it himself (sorry James not sure if you pay towards it now) They wont make Mark rich but with luck will just be enough to contribute and allow this lovely forum to continue.

The adverts don't really make much at all unless people click the links. There is however a small fee for just having them on the page (something silly like 0.004p a page)

Leaving them there will help a lot in the future, especially if the site becomes popular for BB8
