"In penance for their uprising, each district shall offer up a male and a female between the ages of 12 and 18 at a public "reaping". These tributes shall be delivered to the custody of the Capitol. And then transferred to a public arena, where they will fight to the death until a lone victor remains. Henceforth and forevermore this pageant shall be known as The Hunger Games."

How the game will work.

Your own survival is paramount. There is only one winner in this game. It is a competition. You fight, strategize and vote for opponents, or die.
First off, there are two types of Tributes and it is your choice as to which you decide to be.

Lone Wolf Tributes and Team Player Tributes

Lone Wolf Tributes will act alone throughout the game which has its pros and cons. Any weapon or food stock you acquire, you keep for yourself, prolonging your life in the Arena, BUT you face the dangers of alliances ganging up and killing you.

Team Player Tributes can form alliances. The same as Lone Wolf Tributes, this will also have its pros and cons. As a group you can kill anyone in the game easily, but your food stock and weapons will be divided between the group. Team Player Tributes have the advantage of formulating plans to rid the Arena of Tributes quicker but with only one person destined to be victorious, you can't trust anyone. Team Player Tributes can vote to kill off a Tribute in their group.
Depending on applicants, each District will have a District Partner although they are not obligated to become Team Player Tributes.
What type of Tribute you wish to be is your choice.

Killing the Tributes

Day Phase

During a period of time throughout a day Tributes can take the option to lynch a tribute by discussing and voting in the Arena thread. If the majority of Tributes agree on the lynching, the Tribute with the most votes will die immediately.
If no Tribute is voted for, nobody is lynched and game continues with a Twilight/Night Phase.

Twilight Phase

The Gamemakers will secretly rank the Tributes daily and send their scores to the Head Gamemaker (me) in order of a number of factors, for example, if a tribute has been less active than the others, they will score less. This score is very important to your survival inside the Arena. If you find yourself scoring the lowest score it could be fatal. The two or more Tributes with the lowest score will face the Bloodbath.

Night Phase/Bloodbath
The Tributes facing the Bloodbath will be left to the mercy of the other Tributes. The remaining Tributes will decide who will die via PM to me.

There will be other tasks for Tributes to complete whilst in the Arena. Failure to pass these tasks will affect your health status.
