If Andrea gets to the final, which he very likely will. Where is he going to go for his homecoming gig? I bet they haven't thought about that. They can't show what school he went to, where he lives and then perform a massive gig because if he went back to Italy they won't know him

They'll probably just have one where he lives over here tbh, i can't see them sending him, Mel and crew over to Italy, especially since they'd have to be there for a couple of days, i couldn't see Mel wanting to leave her kids behind.

Yeah but his fan base in Italy can't be huge. They won't be watching the X factor and if he was already poplar in Italy before X factor then he wouldn't need X factor... I reckon they may do something entirely different this year with the people that make the final

He was on the italian X Factor, so they know who he is. And he's very popular in his home town, Rome. He was the one who quit italian X Factor to audition for UK one.

Italy isn't a million miles away... they could fly there, film it and be back in the UK in one day. The only people that would have to be there for a few days is the production team. For Mel and Andrea they could pop over for 3 or 4 hours and fly back here.

I can see them doing it somewhere in the UK though.

It's not so much that they couldn't go to Italy and film. It's more the hometown gig that they do. Would enough people know who he is. Bit if he is already big in Rome and been on their version of X factor then I don't think it's fair that he is on our version. Does that mean Paul akister or somebody go on X factor Australia or somewhere?

It was his decision to leave the italian X Factor to audition for the UK one. I imagine he's well known in Italy as well.

Ok, lemme get this straight. Andrea was NEVER on the italian x factor but he did win something like stars in their eyes kids when he was like 13. Besides, you know literally millions of people around the world watch x factor uk & bgt on youtube. They've started to show it on tv around the world now including italy i think.

So to my point it would definately work
