View Full Version : Most Overrated?
Who is the most overrated act this year? (from the ones that's left)
For me it has to be Andrea, I mean he is a fantastic singer obviously I won't deny that and never have done but he just bores me tbh and I know I will never buy any music he releases after the show.

Andrea

For me it's Lauren, for the exact reason why you have said Andrea, she bores me senseless most weeks and i don't think that she's as special as everyone is making her out to be.
Oh Andrea entirely. No idea what the appeal is. His voice is mediocre at best and that is clouded by the irritating shouting and the unnecessary arrogance. He comes across very fame hungry and I don't see the appeal whatsoever. I've been wanting him gone since Week 1.

For example, he suggested Lauren and Ben were his only competition. Also, whenever anyone goes home he never seems bothered and just says 'how happy he is' to still be in the competition. Also he was already on X Factor Italy and other shows. I'm not too keen on people like him, Mark (BB15), Rylan who go on any show to gain some fame.

But.. You're a Stephanie fan and she got to the finals on BGT
Maybe he's just a positive person, no-one knows what happens backstage, he might share the same aspect on life as me, not dwelling on things that you can't change.

Touché. I think the appeal with Stephanie is that to me, she had a unique voice. That and she came across very humble. I do think though that her humble nature partially came from the fact that she was the ultimate underdog. Perhaps if Andrea hadn't been in such a privileged position to begin with, he would've appealed to me more. He just seems too comfortable each week, it comes across very arrogant, to me.

I can see what you're saying about him being comfortable, but he can't really help that he's sailing through each week due to people loving him.

I think we'll have to eternally agree to disagree when it comes to Mr. Faustini... At least the rest of our favorites are pretty much all the same, so there's something right there!

We're not completely different after all :douf:

I don't think any of them are really but I voted Ben just because he has the most consistent positive feedback when a lot of his performances have just been okay/not really my 'thing'.

Ben and Andrea for me

Lauren.

Probably Lauren.
Even though I like her, I do think she gets too much credit from the judges/public. Her voice isn't strong when you compare it to other female contestants from past seasons. But then I suppose that could be due to her being young.

Andrea totally overrated I don't like people like him and Sam Bailey who are basically just shoved down our throats constantly so they can slay everyone and win the competition
Lauren even though she's my second favourite act is becoming slightly overrated also her last two performances haven't been up to scratch
Everyone else I think is rated correctly

Probably Ben tbh.
I really enjoy him but most of his performances have been safe as ****. He's had very typical X Factor songs.

Andrea,he is being really rated by the judges and his voice is really good but there is little charisma there at all.
There are really none at all that I have yet thought, I would buy that if it was released and further to that, there hasn't yet been for me, even a performance I have wanted to watch again either.

Andrea.
He has a great voice but I really don't see anything commercial with him, there's like nothing to really work with that would give him a lasting career as a recording artist.

Stereo Kicks... They look like ****ing octuplets and maybe only one or two of them can actually sing
The fact that they've been saved twice is just disgusting
i swear teenage girls are the worst thing in the world

On here, Fleur. By the judges, sterokicks.

All Ben does is scream a song. It doesn't sound nice and it doesn't even need much talent. Guy gives me headaches.

With the public it has to be Fleur as they make her out to be a brilliant vocalist (when she's really average to me) and they make her out to be versatile when all we've seen from her so far is that she can do uptempos with a rap in it which wouldn't be a problem for me if they didn't then attack acts like Lauren, Ben, and Andrea who have all pulled something different off (Dark Horse, Highway To Hell, and Somebody To Love) Fleur also does make all her performances the same every week.
And with the judges it has to be Jay James, because apart from Cheryl they all seem to think that his a class act with brilliant vocals, instead of someone that sings through his nose, pulls the smugest faces ever, and he has the nastiest falsetto that I've ever heard.

They're all pretty awful this year, to be honest. It's a really weak year. I tune in to see how bad everyone's going to be rather than out of enjoyment of the performances, and that's a first for me for x factor. There have always been one or two that I've actually likes, even looked up the YouTubes of certain performances to listen again, but this year... To be frank, you would have to pay me.
