X Factor boyband Stereo Kicks’ have had a last minute song choice, but what have they eventually chosen to sing?

With literally minutes to go until the weekend performance was finalised yesterday, the group and mentor Louis Walsh ‘mutually agreed’ to change the song.

They tweeted: “so guys.. we’ve made a massive decision to change our song after a chat with Louis. we hope 1 day is enough to learn a brand new song!!”

The move didn’t go down too well with fans, especially with the group having been in the bottom two twice already this series.

But Jake reassured fans yesterday: “I’ve seen some of you panicking, don’t worry!! we prefer this song so much and it sounds better!! buzzing for tomorrow”

It’s not known what the eight piece were originally planing to perform, but their new song choice is Mack the Knife, made popular by Bobby Darin, according to the weekly iTunes downloads.

Jake tweeted: “so so so excited about our song tomorrow!! I think it’s gonna be our best one yet!!”

Earlier today, the group wrote online: “Been working so hard past 24 hrs after changing our song yday! So much work has been put in. We hope you like it. Bring it ON”

I too was hoping 'mack the Knife' had slipped through the net this time too,bad move I think.
I recall 'Eton Road' doing this in big band week in their series and getting slated for it.

This is looking like another, at best, average week then.

its a terrible theme for artists who have no idea what the theme means or have heard of 99% of the songs

Can't be fussed with most of them this year Cherie,no one stands out for me,nothing outstanding just a few good singers.

Big Band week is dreadful, my favourites always get songs that I hate on the theme too.
