There were no links between Labour grandees and PIE, that is a misleading statement.

It seemed they were duped into believing his endorsement was for the discussion of rights for homosexual and bisexual men.
Seems funny too how in a time when the establishment must be quaking about a cover up that could blow the cover on what really transpired under thatchers govt these silly diversionary tactics are still applied by the right wing media.

I think you need to stop trying to accuse Labour MPs of doing things in which they were clearly unaware in an attempt to make them look evil, arista. :nono:

Gordon Brown was not as stupid as he looks. Don't let the wonky eye fool you. He's not as innocent as he appears.

Just like with Oscar Pistorius, our proclivity towards sympathy can be very misguided. Sometimes disabled people really are like Bond villains.

That GB was ever PM of GB, should make you question the entire democratic system of GB. Noone ever voted for him to be a national leader, but he was, and the first opportunity they got they voted him out.

I think we will find a lot of people, politicians, business and just general people were likely duped at some time by these organisations.
This is the problem, people set up things with an acceptable face to things, while the hidden agenda rumbles on beneath the surface until eventually something comes to light.

Even the press at the time then seemed to have no suspicions either as to them, that is how this is only sort of news now.
A great thing hindsight, sadly probably no one, politicians, business or any of us have the ability to act on all we do with any prospect of being able to see any result with the gift of hindsight at the time.
