Only The Young very cleverly choose well known, well loved songs and deliver them with gusto in the ‘fun’ style OTY are making their own, and this is guaranteed to have people tapping their feet and singing along.

There is some really great music around currently, and some really great singers, but current ‘Pop’ is increasingly becoming ‘worthy’, taking itself too seriously and the ‘fun’ element has been missing over recent years. OTY won’t win the X Factor, but they will fill a niche in the market and have ample success. I always enjoy their uptempo fun performances because I get sick of hearing similar sounding 'dirges' no matter how well sung.

Stereokicks are not a good ‘boy’ band, and have no potential to become good never mind great, and perhaps they are only still in the competition because there are so many of them they are virtually guaranteed to satisfy the diverse ‘pin up’ ideals of all the different teeny bopper girl fans.

Twist and Shout was alright. It's better when just the two girls sing, imo. I wouldn't deem it awesome by any means. Awesome to me is more Andrea's type of vocal performances. I just find them very average.

The blonde guy spoils things especially. He was pathetic during the Jailhouse Rock segment of the medley involving Twist and Shout. His impersonation of Elvis made things even more cringe worthy from him. The band would be better without him for me.
