The only thing he should have won was the 'I can bore people to sleep' award. Ray should have, Anouska entertained me more in 1 week than Cameron did the whole time.

I thought Ray was gonna win...I was on Holiday and didn't find out he had won it till I came back and I was like, "Seriously?" I just found him to be soooooooooooo boring.

Fact is, he got the majority of the votes, so the simple answer is yes.

He was actually one of my favourite housemates for the very reason that he was generally a down-to-earth guy, and I don't watch BB to see how many freaks can out-freak each other in freak-awards. (Wow, a lot of freaks in there, just like the BB house).
He was genuine, and most of the others were not.
I think this is why I prefer older BB's because they started out with having relatively normal people as HMs and it's gone downhill from henceforth.

I didn't really watch BB that much then.

By "boring" I meant, less memorable not "unfreaky". Ray was just one of the more memorable housemates. Like Jon.

e.g. Brian's a down to earth guy, not acting like a freak, yet he's memorable and he's one of my fav housemates.

Brian is a down to earth guy, he's one of my faves too - but he also has freakish quirks (i.e. not knowing who Shakespeare is, weeing the bed). Whereas someone like Liam is another down-to-earth guy that constantly gets criticised for being boring.
