Is Jake Quickenden replacing Gemma Collins?

Jake Quickenden has spurred rumours that he's going to enter the jungle and compete on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here after being pictured on Queensland's Gold Coast yesterday (November 17).

The 24-year-old former X Factor finalist was spotted having a coffee in a hotel in the coastal city, before being joined by a woman and having a sneaky cigarette by the pool.

The singer has also been hinting that he could be taking part on the ITV reality TV show with a series of not-so-cryptic posts on twitter.

Yesterday he tweeted: "Hank Marvin now could murder some grub"

Today he added: "Morning campers,Hows every1 today?"

If Quickenden is set for Croc Camp, he will be joining former footballer Jimmy Bullard, US star Kendra Wilkinson, Melanie Sykes, Tinchy Stryder, Michael Buerk, motorbike racer Carl Fogarty and actress Vicki Michelle.

Meanwhile Corrie's Craig Charles and Irish model Nadia Forde continue to languish in the Celebrity Slammer, waiting to be rescued by members of the other team.

TOWIE's Gemma Collins has quit the show after just four days in the jungle.

Former MP Edwina Currie is also rumoured to join the jungle with Quickenden as the second late arrival.
