Yellow fat, is it an old cut? What did you cut it on?

if it's not bleeding soak your finger in cooled boiled water as hot as you can stand for 5 mins or so to draw out any dirt and dress with a sterile bandage or plaster everyday.
If it looks angry or its very very sore go to your GP.
