How do you know when you've had enough for the night, and how do you/ what makes you stop?

It all depends on my mood, sometimes Im just in the mood for drinking and I get stupid drunk then really suffer with a hangover the next day. Or if I know I just want a few Il have single vodkas instead of doubles and Il have a coke inbetween, Really I should do the latter all the time but just sometimes u feel like drinking. Mind I am a very funny drunk, I don't fight or nowt I dance, I sing, I laugh in general im a very happy drunk.

I tend to just buy what i will drink that night. So when its done its done. If i have a bottle of say whisky and nowt else i always drink the same amount out if it, about3 fingers more than i should. Usually i start at 7 and finish at 9.30 or so. I know i have to work the next day so i cant stay up too late and i woukd only fall asleep.

Don't drink as much now. I usually have a glass of wine if I'm chilling, a refreshing cold lager if I'm doing manual work, or if I'm out or in company, I just social drink as the evening progresses. I find it's not the quantity of drink but the quality of company which usually guarantees a 'good time'.

I mean to be fair if I'm at a house party I have been known to drink nearly an entire bottle of Malibu but if I'm out I'd have about 4 and stop because I'd be drunk on 4 and I'd be fine with that.

I look at other people when they are drunk and watch how their face and speech morphs and think…nah, not for me…I find drunks frightening and sometimes they talk twaddle and don't remember how embarrassing they were the next day. It puts me off completely.
