Do you think 5 weeks is too long for a celebrity series or would you like it to be even longer?
With the wrong housemates or constant twists the series could really go down hill and become boring very quickly

Depends on how dire the cast is

I think 3 or 4 weeks are enough for a celeb series. Any longer and it usually gets boring.

I think 4 weeks is ideal

I don't think it's necessarily 'too long' it all depends on who goes in there and how well the eviction order goes, i find that if the cast is good, i could watch it for the same length as a civilian series, but if the cast is awful, I'd want it off my screen for as long as possible.

I'd prefer 4 weeks but I could happily watch 5 weeks of it.

Fair point

Yeah, I am glad they've decided to change it up a bit

Depends on the type of series it turns out to be. Sometimes it's better short and sweet rather than dragged out with a boring last week or two.
I don't mind 5 weeks, as long as they don't have another CBB in the summer. Really hope they axe it.
All depends on the cast and the eviction order. They could end up with virtually no interesting celebs mid-series because it's 5 weeks. Then again 5 weeks could mean no evictions for the first 2 weeks then lots of random/midweek/normal evictions for the last week.

Celebrity Series' get boring fast imo. After a week they tend to just sit around all day. For 5 weeks we need to see more drama and more interesting tasks.

It's fine if there is no eviction for two weeks or so (CBB14 was perfect for leaving the first eviction for a week and a half)

I agree.

For January I think it's right, however it depends if the series is good or not. If it's an awful series then it'll be too long. But as for CBB9/13, 5 weeks would've been great.

The Celebrities are sure to think so I'd wager
Hopefully, like other's have said, this means the budget is too stretched for a summer CBB too.

Last years January series was amazing and I could have watched that for 13 weeks. It depends how great the housemates are. If they're ****, the series is ****.

I think it depends on how good the series is. However, if I'm enjoying a series I'd be happy for it to run for 5 weeks.

I think its perfect but they also need to not have an eviction for the first 2 weeks like old school BB as in CBB the best housemate barr last year allways goes first.
The evictions don't draw any bigger ratings anymore either so its not as if people are watching it to see who gets kicked out anymore.

It is when you consider that CBB is now going to be running for half the length of BB

I think what would make sense is that if the civillian one is a success like 2013 they could extend it to 11 weeks & that would make it 16 weeks a year like its supposed to be.

If the cast is good and if summer CBB is dropped then I'm all for it!
