Nothing beats knowing there are people in your life that you know will never set out to hurt you, will be there when you need them and also not let anyone else try to hurt you too.

My immediate family. My wife is 20 years younger than me and still as beautiful as the day I met her. I cannot look at her without feeling that I am one of the luckiest guys in the world, because her physical appearance may have been what first attracted me, but it is her inner beauty, her decency, her kindness, her genuine love that bonds me to her.

Looking at our children can move me to tears sometimes - such is my love for them. Like their mother, they are beautiful on the outside and on the inside, and are everything a father could wish for in his offspring.

I have been poor and relatively wealthy, but it really is in my family that I am a rich man.

They will never hurt me, only love me. They never lie to me, nor flatter me to deceive, and I am content knowing that one day when I am gone, part of me will live on in better human beings than I have ever truly managed to be.

Cliched? Yes. Soppy? Yes. But true nonetheless.
