Did any of your schools do a play or show for a assembly for the the other years to watch? if so can you remember it:laugh:

I can..In year 6 we had to do musicals
Me and these 4 boys in my class had to dance to Greese Lightning :umm2:
looking back now, it's embarrassing to watch:laugh:

Yes, so funny my friend used to pretend to faint so she got to sit down. One day she did it and I burst out laughing... turns out she was really ill and had to be taken to the nurse :/

Every year in my primary school there was a big Christmas play which ran for about 3 weeks every year, 2 shows a day, one in the morning and one at night, so all the parents could come and watch at whatever time was best for them.

The year 6's were the main people, but every other year had their own song to perform during part of the show, so that everyone took part.

Well when i got to year 6, i was beaten for the role of Joseph, so i took on the role of King Herod instead and I'll have you all know, i was the best King Herod they ever had :smug:

I had to do my own solo and everything, looking back i was a massive cringebag, but at the time i felt like an actual King :hehe:

My nieces and Nephews go to the exact same school and whenever i go and watch their Christmas plays, the headmistress, who was there when i was, always calls me Herod when she sees me :flutter:

Yes, I hated the ones in primary because we all were made to sit on the floor :umm2:

The ones in secondary weren't so bad because we got seats.

Oh yes, the torture.
I used to have to stand in front of assembly and do the readings quite often.
Hated it...and I really did used to faint in assembly quite often, due to the heat I thnk.

Once at an assembly i shook hands with a man who shook hands with a man who stood on the moon.
