I am about to eat a clump of broccoli about the size of the New Forest
How do you stand on this superfood?

Absolutely love it. Would have it every day if I could.
p.s - do you know it was the James Bond producer Cubby Broccoli's grandfather (I think) who created the veg?

Yes it's perfectly true Kaz. I can't remember if it was his father or grandfather but he definitely created broccoli. Glad he did. I like to blanch mine then put it in a collander and in deference to Cubby Broccoli, I have mine 'shaken but not stirred'. :joker::wavey:

Love Brocolli. Always inconsistent with it though when cooking. Some days the stalk is really tough </3

Cut off the stalks and cook them a good few minutes until nearly tender before adding the florets.
When ready PM me and I'll be round at yours in a flash, my own fork at the ready. :joker:

When it comes to tree like eats, the white ones are definitely superior :hehe:

I love it and would eat it by the bushel everyday, but it's part of the family of vegetables known to repress thyroid function, so I only eat sparingly :bawling:
