The lights are on the table here waiting for hubby to get himself out in the freezing cold and wrap them around the outside tree.

Can't decide if we should get a real one this year for indoors..no room for anything bigger than 3 ft really.

God bless you Anniek -- Get it put up and decorate. Let your little boy's glee and enthusiasm lift you, because it will. Let him motivate you and don't leave it too late.

Where I am living currently, mine will e up arond the 12th,however at home, my Mum only puts the tree up on Christmas eve and as we all go that day for the Christmas period everyone partakes in dressing the tree by the end of the day.
One of her old traditions and my Grandmother's before her too.
