I tossed my own iPhone onto the couch last night and it smacked into my cousins iPhone that he had given me to download stuff onto and it has smashed the bottom left corner front.. just below the screen and to the left of the button.. I was thinking about buying one of those protective covers but I was hoping to get one that covers the whole iPhone except for the button and the actual screen, but so far I've only found ones that cover the entire phone.

Anyway, apart from paying for a whole new screen can someone think a bright idea up for me please

Same happened to me but mine has black dots on it? I'm just used to it now though.

Most places repair but it's expensive

He got it yesterday and I smashed it last night but didn't actually know I'd done it til I got home before. It has warranty I think but not insurance, and I'm pretty sure the warranty only stands if it's something faulty with the phone because of Apple and not because it got smashed after being purchased?

That is what I said but apparently they checked it over and stuff in the shop before handing it over

You can get a Replace screen
at Timpsons the key makers

see if they will do a fair deal.

It could have got smashed in transit Locke, they can't prove it wasn't,I'de definitely play on that,I had mine fixed last week cost £49 and that was with some off !!! apple are so greedy,I am sure they could make their phones with unbreakable glass, everyone I know has had a smashed screen at some point, definately try and get it done for free

Tbf this is one of the tradeoffs for having an iPhone, the screens are about as durable as wet cardboad

My brother fixes them but you can easily do it- just buy a third party glass off ebay and put it on yourself- you can get different colours, too!
