She’s won an Oscar, been voted one of the most powerful celebrities in the world, and now Jennifer Lawrence can add another string to her bow.

The actress has claimed her first UK top 40 single with new track "The Hanging Tree" taken from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 soundtrack.

The song has been scored by composer James Newton Howard and features Lawrence singing, despite describing her voice as a “tone deaf Amy Winehouse” on the David Letterman Show earlier this month.

Lawrence stars as the Hunger Games’ brave protagonist Katniss Everdeen, who became the highest-grossing action movie heroine earlier this year.

Singing definately isn't one of her strong suits, lets face it the song has done as well as it has because of fangirls/fanboys.

Yet another field of the arts for her to be mediocre at and get ridiculously fawned over

The song is not amazing - I will admit. But she does have a good voice.

Keira Knightley's singing in Begin Again is a lot better, just like her acting.
