If I recall correctly, she didn't say anything nasty, or use any foul language. She said to Vicky, that she was speaking to Jake, and to Michael, that he is not her father.
The tone may have not been the nicest, but it wasn't brutal at all means, and personally I found Alfonso's tone towards Matthew last year, to be much worse.

Other than that, both Vicky and Mel, and Micheal and Mel, seem to get along in the camp perfectly fine, and people are blowing her snapping out of proportion, as if it is some sort of rivalry, between the pair.
