Any fans of this show here? For a while it was my favourite programme on TV.
Any way, I've just noticed that the it's being repeated on BBC2 on Thursdays at 11:20 pm.

I hope so Slartibartfast I loved the earlier ones. I don't like the later ones as much it was cleaned up and change for the US audience.

At least I got a reply after 4 years lol.
I wish they would just bring the TV show back, and not bother about trying to get a movie made - which probably isn't going to happen, and might not be very good anyway.

Yeah, last couple of series' weren't up to scratch. I think probably seasons 2 and 3 were the best. I think my bro still has them all on VHS.
(And my earlier post disappeared!! It looked like I had posted it twice so I deleted one, but they've both gone.)

Series 5 is my favourite - some classic episodes. Love the dialogue at the beginning of 'The Inquisitor'.

The Inquisitor is admittedly a personal favourite episode, but the first appearance of the GELF was in Series 3 and that is my all time number one! The shrinking boxers, Dwaine Dibley, shagging Rimmer's mum, classic stuff!!

Yeah, when Rimmer had all his anger taken out of him, and he turned into a hippy peacenik who wanted to set up the 'Campaign for the Liberation and Integration Of Terrible Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society'.
How sad that I can quote the dialogue from memory!

Oh id love to see the return of red dwarf,
but with lister driving mini cabs in corrie i think he's got a steady fulltime job with good pay,and unlikely to go back to the dwarf.
According to the website they are trying to get the red dwarf movie off the ground, but the website hasn't changed for years now, so intrest from american film makers must have died, maybe since Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy movie didnt do as well as expected.
So for now i suppose we'll have to make do with re runs ,which is no bad thing :hello:
Smoke me a kipper I'll be back for breakfast
