There will be nothing for me under the tree this year....we are donating any present money to the hospice where my mum spent her last days...
Edit: lol, I know how to depress a lovely Christmassy thread....sorry Ammi

I will be alone with my dog and fish on Christmas morning for the first time in my life. Just to add to the happy feeling of the thread.

Nothing too exciting this year! The little brother is nearly 3 so it's his first Christmas where he's excited about everything -aka he's taken over as the gift receiver in our family
I'll probably get some tech bits, running gear, money etc.

You are both welcome to spend Christmas at mine - Don't worry my Christmas Nativity crib is not in the main room - only Santas, sleighs and snowmen in there. :hehe:

I have told my wife and kids - for the umpteenth time - that I don't need anything, so not to buy me anything, but I'm guaranteed an array of smaller useful gifts anyway, though they all do now make extra donations to charity with the money saved on buying large presents for me. (it somehow makes all the special Chrimbo goodies we consume a little more palatable ).

I am now getting the best gift...our daughter will be home after all.
Not for Christmas Day itself, she will be going back down south on Christmas eve, so we are having 2 Christmas dinners etc.
Off topic but bursting to share.
Guess who turned up on my doorstep last Friday evening with presents for her Mammy' special birthday on the Saturday..l let out such a scream I reckon the whole cul-de-sac heard it:cheer2:

Pleased for you Smudgie. No finer present than absent loved ones turning up.
