We usually have left over Turkey with chips and gravy. We once made a turkey curry one year but dear god that was a mistake.

Am I the only one who has another Christmas dinner?

No - We do. Well, mostly, I do also make a curry with some of the leftover turkey crown because one or two always want that, but I personally always have another full Chrimbo dinner because I love it.

Why? Did you use leg meat etc? Turkey curry's delicious if you only use breast meat a la chicken. I learnt years ago that using anything but crown makes curries ugh.

Oh, I see. Well Dottie, in the immortal words of the great W.C.Fields;

"Ya can pick yer friends. Ya can pick yer nose. But ya can't pick yer friend's nose." :hehe:

In other words; you can't do anything about the creepos who will be at your Nan's when you visit so just ignore the tatterdemalions - and I bet that's just what you do. :joker:

Why? it's Marc, I knew his answer would involve faeces before he even replied. Everything always does when it's Marc...

The leg and thigh are the tastiest bit? It's a bit like pork but better for you we eat it curried and stir fried regularly.

Same here Kirk, I wouldn't make a curry with anything but the breasts/crown, the other meat just isn't right for curries imo.

Yes, it is mashed potato and cabbage mashed up and fried, but you can chuck in any left over vegetables. It's very nice.
