Frankie Boyle never flies anywhere now as he is scared of dying.
How is your fear of flying?

He's scared of dying as he knows he's going to hell for all the **** he pulled

I hate flying.....really hate it but I would never let the fear stop me. I find a couple of drinks and a Valium help. My brother is a long haul pilot for BA and he tells me how safe flying is (and also some horror stories) but I just hate it

I love flying,my fave way to travel, although the odd thought of crashing has crossed my mind, but ,it's usually just a fleeting thing thankfully.

Like Kaz, I adore flying, but I won't fly when it's raining because I don't want to get my wings wet or my halo tarnished. :joker:

I get more excited about flying than fearful. Even when there is turbulence I still feel very safe. I get far more anxious when I'm in a car, sometimes even if they're a good driver I start to become afraid.

Frankie boyle is a twat, and yes, I do, but only the big ones.

I've always liked flying. Now I do it quite a lot it's just like any other kind of commute really. I never think about crashing my car or my train crashing, likewise I hardly ever think of the plane going down or some other disaster. The only time I ever think about something bad happening is when I fly El Al because they're so paranoid.

Was it amazing? I always wanted to do one but the older I get the more of a wuss I'm becoming. I think I could manage a tandem jump, if the instructor literally pushed us out

made me chuckle...
i was in Newark Airport last year (for people who dont know, this is literally just outside NYC) and we were literally on the runway about to take off and a muslim guy got up and walked down the aisle like 'my bag! my bag! i need my bag!'
he had to get escorted down the aisle by 3 cabin crew ladies...
safe to say i absolutely shat myself
i'd have been scared if it had been anyone, but the fact we were so close to new york made my mind go into overdrive

I would not do it now. It was in a rickety old plane and i had to like climb out on the fecking wing and then jump backwards, heaven knows what i was thinking.
You dont half land with a thump, its not like you see when the guys pull 2 cords and glide to a gentle landing. It was bang crash thud.

I'm flying next week and I'm already feeling uneasy. I try not to think about it and am usually fine when up in the air (and wined up) but the nerves always get me beforehand :worry: Especially moreso hearing about all the aviation accidents

Flying is by far the safest form of travel! There are 100s of car crashes every day but you don't see them on the news

I used to love it, but after a friend was killed in a crash a few years ago I've always been a bit uneasy.

The adrenaline of it is great and if you were to crash/die or anything it'd probably be one of the most exciting ways aside from jumping off a building
